Changeover day
We don't have a set changeover day as we like to keep things flexible. We also understand that guests may not wish to travel at a weekend when roads can be busy. Arrival after 4.00pm and departure by 10.30am please.
If you wish to arrive earlier or leave later please ask; we will try and help but we do want to ensure the property is clean and welcoming when guests arrive.
Booking notes
A 40 per cent deposit required to secure booking. Final balance due six weeks before arrival. Bookings made within one month of arrival require full payment at the time of booking by cheque or bank transfer.
You can pay us directly by cheque or BACS or pay by credit card on the Vrbo website.
Warning!
Vrbo add a significant service charge, so it is cheaper to book directly with us by telephone or email.
We also do our best to keep our calendar on their website bang up to date and there are 50 photographs to look through.
Extras
The food and drink in the West country is fantastic and we do like to support local producers. We can often buy good quality local produce, such as free range eggs, organic full cream milk, vegetables and fruit and have them ready for your arrival. We provide receipts when possible and you reimburse us. We may charge a small fee of a few pounds towards our costs.
Wildlife tour
For a fee of £40 the owner of Coombe Mill will give visitors a guided tour which can be helpful in getting to know the reserve and useful for those wishing to see particular species.
Natural History Courses and Visits
We may be able to arrange for natural history courses, such as bird watching or plant identification to take place on site and for guests to be taken on visits to other nature reserves.
